This Privacy Policy explains what information TokenCrib (“TokenCrib,” “we,” “us”) collects when you use tokencrib.org (the “Site”), how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the Site.
Information we collect
- Newsletter email. If you subscribe, we store the email address you provide and the fact that you subscribed. We only collect it because you chose to give it to us.
- Crib AI usage. When you complete the Crib AI questionnaire, we may record the (non-personal) answers you selected — such as asset type and budget range — to understand demand. These records are not linked to your identity and do not require you to give any personal information.
- Basic analytics. We use privacy-friendly, aggregated analytics to understand traffic (for example, page views and general location at the country level). This does not identify you personally.
- Technical data. Like most websites, our hosting provider processes standard technical information (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver and secure the Site.
How we use it
We use this information to send you the updates you asked for, to improve the Site and Crib AI, to understand what content and asset categories are in demand, and to keep the Site secure. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Service providers
We rely on a small number of trusted providers to operate the Site:
- Vercel — website hosting and privacy-friendly analytics.
- Supabase — the database that stores newsletter signups and anonymized Crib AI usage.
- Anthropic — where the AI-powered version of Crib AI is enabled, your questionnaire answers are processed to generate a recommendation. Answers are not personal information.
These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms and security practices.
Cookies
The Site uses minimal cookies. Our analytics are designed to work without tracking cookies that identify you across sites.
Data retention
We keep newsletter emails until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Aggregated and anonymized usage data may be kept to inform the product.
Your choices and rights
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time. You may also ask us to access or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing hello@tokencrib.org. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under applicable data protection law.
Children
The Site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
